Taryn Lee is an artist, art historian, and educator based on Tongva land who is committed to creating moments of clarity and authenticity within herself and others through the artistic encounters. Lee’s work reflects an impulse to learn not only through the mind but also through the body and its sensations. Through critical and spiritual inquiries, Lee aims to diminish the borders between “subjects” and “objects” in hopes of fostering a holistic and embodied experience of the world.
“…human beings belong to stories. Let’s enter back into the complex, tangled work of letting go of authorship and letting ourselves be told.” - Sophie Strand
